June is a super ewe who has already suffered a great deal of pain in her short life.
Unfortunately she belonged to a farmer who has a history of alcoholism and he failed to notice that June was in agony with a fractured leg that was also severely lacerated.
When a visitor reported June's plight the farmer merely commented that "he would shoot her tomorrow".
The visitor informed Carole who went to the farm and as a result June now lives happily at FARS with her faithful companion Jupiter, who was included in the rescue operation at his own insistence!
June's injuries were so severe that the only possible treatment was to amputate her back leg.
