Adopt a Cow - Rhona

Rhona made an impression with the bullocks at our Sanctuary, visiting them and communicating across the fence.

It was soon that FAR learnt about her grim fate; she had failed to come into calf (for the 2nd time) and would be sent to slaughter.

After finding the finances through Animal Aid and Animal Rights Groups, Rhona was saved. However the saga did not end there...

Rhona escaped within an hour of her arrival (which must have took great effort), which we soon discovered was because she was looking for her five-month old calf. It was lucky she was caught before any harm came to her. This is a lesson to those that say Animals do not suffer pain when separated.

Thanks to all the kind people who donated money to us, Rhona is now reunited with her calf, Ronan, which is a better fate than was facing her before FAR rescued her and Ronan.

All the money from this adoption will go straight to the Animals. We do not pay any administrative wages, which ensures every penny is used to pay for food, land rental, shelter, vets' bills and on-site husbandry.

Ways to adopt Rhona
Adopt using our secure Internet payment system for only £15.00 (inclusive of Internet payment fee), or by cheque for £15.00. Adoptions outside of the UK will be charged at £19.00 (inclusive of Internet payment fee).

We aim to send your pack within 7 days (Mon-Fri) but during busy periods, this may take longer. Please allow us to thank you for your patience.

Cheque Adoptions: You can choose to pay for your adoption via cheque or postal order. To adopt/enquire into Rhona please complete a cheque/postal order for £15.00 and make it payable to: Farm Animal Rescue Sanctuary.

Visiting Rhona

You can visit your animal between the months of mid-May to mid-September. Farm Animal Rescue Sanctuary is based in Wolverton, Warwickshire.
