Alas that has not happened. Instead mans' greed has condemned these
gentle creatures to an almost intolerable lifestyle: in factory
farms, battery units, rapid intensive breeding, using hormone therapy. Often followed
by being sent abroad and thus becoming part of the
evil "Live Export Trade", which can often end in a brutal
death.
These Animals do not deserve to be treated so cruelly just to enhance
mans' profit. It is uncivilised behaviour and should not be condoned
by the human race.

If you agree with the sentiments expressed here, please help by
adopting a pig, ewe, ram, bullock or cow.
This way you will help to secure the future for the four hundred
and seventy plus Animals that have been rescued from circumstances that are
sometimes too sad to fully describe.
Running a Sanctuary of this nature is expensive but the rewards
are enormous. So why not become a member of F.A.R.S. and learn more
about these delightful Animals.
The driving force behind Farm Animal Rescue Sanctuary is Carole
Webb. She looks after the animals and works ceaselessly to ensure
the survival of the Sanctuary.
Carole also has a couple of regular dedicated volunteers - Salvi
and Janice. They lend a hand with the animals at the Sanctuary and
provide much needed help.

Lastly, a heartfelt thanks must go to all the people
who have sponsored animals. The cost of running Farm Animal Rescue
Sanctuary rises all the time and it is only with continued support
from these people that the future of the animals can be secured.
